Grey Iron Wear Resistant Castings

Due to the excellent wear resistance and shock absorption properties of grey cast iron, it is suitable for static castings that require low strength but undertake high loads with lower costs. The carbon content of grey cast iron is normally higher, up to 2.5-4%. This property makes the products easier to machine. Grey iron castings are commonly applied in machines, lathes, and auto accessories as lathe stands, lathe beds, bearing support, gear boxes, automobile cylinders, valves, and pumps.

Grey iron castings can be produced according to your blueprints and technical requirements. To increase their hardness, durability, and stability, heat treating is also available upon request.
