The solar water heater is a device which absorbs heat via a solar collector and stores the heat in a water tank in the form of hot water. It is mainly made up of four parts: a solar collector, water tank, frame, and controller.
Based on the various circulation type and structure used, there are three types of solar water heater: integrative non-pressurized solar water heater, integrative pressurized solar water heater, and split pressurized solar water heater. Depending on the type of solar collector used, the solar water heater can be divided into two types: the vacuum tube solar water heater and the flat plate solar water heater.
