The ultrasonic water meter is developed using an ultrasonic time difference principle. Ultra sound beams travel faster upstream than they do downstream, causing a time difference. The water meter detects this time difference in order to calculate a water velocity for water flow measurement.

- Different from a mechanical water meter, an ultrasonic water meter features excellent long-term stability. The sensor performance will not decrease as time goes on.
- Ultrasonic water meters are not affected by the impurities, chemical substances and magnetic materials in the flow media.
- The measuring mechanism has no moving parts, thus ensuring it is extremely wear resistant. The measuring accuracy is also not influenced by the usage time.
- Installation is available in horizontal and vertical.
- With the using of a German GP2 time detection chip, the time measuring accuracy is 50 pcs.
