UPS Systems
An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is an effective backup power unit to keep critical power supplies available and IT systems running when the standard (main) power supply is fluctuating or shuts off. In the meantime, the uninterruptible power supply is not interfered by abnormal voltage performances such as voltage sag (or voltage dip, happens when the voltage decreases between 10% and 90% of nominal voltage for one-half cycle to one minute), voltage surge (or transient, a sub-cycle overvoltage with a duration of less than a half-cycle of the normal voltage waveform), etc.
The uninterruptible power supply is basically a “battery”, and the battery just activates whenever the main power supply is not functioning. If you are using computers or running servers, you will have plenty of time to save your data and exit normally before the backup system runs out of power completely
Sicon has been researching and developing UPS systems since 2003 and we have launched data center 3 phase modular UPS, rackmount UPS systems, and tower UPS systems for different applications. We also provide UPS-lithium-ion battery management systems to meet higher requirements.
